Have you received unwanted (spam) email from an email address ending in "posse.net?" Apparently there's a lot of that going around these days. It's easy for someone to set up an email account using any combination of letters and numbers as the "From" address. And that's what's happening here. Here's what I received in my email inbox today:

The "To" column shows the address from which the spam was sent. None of those addresses represent actual email accounts on the www.posse.net email server. Please be assured that the Maricopa County Sheriff's Communications Posse does not send out spam email.

If you have received an email from one of those addresses, or any other "@posse.net" address, you can do something to help. If you would forward the email header to the contact address shown on the front page, I can try to go to the person's Internet Service Provider and get him to stop spamming. With your help we can take down at least one spammer.
